The Tiger Claw Elite Championship will be taking a hiatus for 2009. Founded in 2006, the Tiger Claw Elite Championship encompassed 31 tournaments and crowned 36 Grand Champions over its three-year history. In order to better serve the martial arts community at large, Tiger Claw will use this year to refocus on its ongoing tournament sponsorship program. Elite Championship is very proud to have cooperated with Disney’s Sports Attractions on this unique project and is looking forward to more exciting opportunities in the future.
This year, Tiger Claw is cooperating with KungFuMagazine.com, the official website of Kung Fu Tai Chi, and Tony & Theresa Kattengell of the Bay Area Sport Karate Association for an unprecedented tournament of Chinese Kung Fu and Wushu alongside Karate. On June 27th, 2009, Tiger Claw’s KungFuMagazine.com Championships & Shark City Nationals will be held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA.
