WildAid Tiger Claw Championship
The 11th WildAid Tiger Claw Championship will be held on Saturday at the Tiger Claw Elite KungFuMagazine.com Championships, May 6-7, 2023, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California
The WildAid Tiger Claw Champion is a special "any style, any form" division. It is the only division where Taekwondo and Chinese martial arts can compete against each other; however, Taekwondo has not stepped up in years. There is the adult WildAid Tiger Champion division and two youth divisions: the WildAid Teen Tiger Championship for competitors ages 17–12 and the WildAid Tiger Cub Championship for ages 11 and under.
HISTORY
In the Year of the Tiger 2010, the Tiger Claw Foundation launched a special Showcase Championship with all proceeds donated to WildAid. WildAid is an international non-profit organization with the mission to end the illegal wildlife trade within our lifetimes. Jackie Chan is a primary spokesperson for WildAid, accompanied by Yao Ming, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lupita Nyong’o, Maggie Q, Li Bingbing, Jay Chou, David Beckham and many other international celebrities.
When the buying stops, the killing can too.
